New Amsterdam Trade & Consultancy provides a wide range of representation services. We assist our clients with identifying appropriate and value-adding business partners, supply chains and clients, and advice on executing business processes overseas.

Our services range from primary to proactive representation. With primary representation, New Amsterdam Trade & Consultancy serves as the ‘eyes and ears’ for our clients in the market. Proactive representation entails a more ‘hands on’ approach, by creating a market rather than reacting to it. In addition, we provide customized marketing campaigns and project management services.

Primary Representation Services
Basic representation services can be extended according to the wishes of one or both parties, and entail the following:

  • Distribution Network: communication with regional/local agents, distributors, freight forwarding and warehouse services; export through existing channels; advice on regulations and necessary documentation
  • Back Office Representation: assisting in matters such as incorporation, patenting, licensing and is the contact person for banks, accountants, legal advisors, staff and other stakeholders
  • Front Office Representation: New Amsterdam serves as the communication focal point for the new market: managing sales activities, answering inquiries, receiving and processing orders
  • Local representation: consultants with experience in the market, servicing clients and partners in US time zone, support with accounts receivable (US & UN)
  • Pied-à-Terre services: a physical address with telephone, fax, internet; reception activities: voice mail, mail forwarding, use of conference room and other office facilities

Proactive Representation Services
Building upon the expertise and network of New Amsterdam enables clients to penetrate the market fast and efficiently. In addition to primary services, our business development services also include:

  • Network Building: targeting and building a long-term, qualitative network of clients, partners, distributors, experts and press in the specific market
  • Partner Selection: industry related assistance identifying partners in both the public and private sector
